Field Service Technician (3D Printing)

Location: Boston, MA; must be located in close proximity to Newark Airport. The role covers North America and requires 80% or more travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites to unpack, install, commission, and calibrate 3D printing systems.
• Deliver on-site user training, product demonstrations, and instruction on software operation and basic maintenance.
• Respond to urgent equipment issues and perform repairs to restore customer operations.
• Conduct annual preventative maintenance visits and work toward single-visit resolutions.
• Manage flights, trains, hotels, rental cars, and expense submissions independently.
• Document installations, training sessions, and repairs in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM-related field.
• Hands-on repair experience, including the ability to diagnose electromechanical issues.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel 80% or more.
• Ability to work independently using written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
• Proximity to Newark Airport.
