TL;DR

Process Excellence Manager (Materials Management) (Supply Chain/Manufacturing): Driving global process standardization, optimization, and digitalization across materials management, production planning, scheduling, and purchasing in multi-site ETO and CTO manufacturing environments with an accent on scalable supply chain execution, planning accuracy, and supplier collaboration. Focus on redesigning MRP and scheduling logic, implementing digital planning tools, improving operational KPIs, and leading change adoption across global teams.

Location: Westerville, Ohio, United States. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided. Travel: 30–50% within the United States and globally.

What you will do

  • Map, redesign, standardize, and document materials management, production planning, scheduling, and purchasing processes.
  • Optimize MRP logic, reorder strategies, lead times, safety stock, master data, and demand-and-supply balancing.
  • Establish scheduling principles, performance metrics, and digital or finite-capacity planning solutions.
  • Improve purchasing workflows, supplier performance measurement, and supplier planning visibility through portals, EDI, and collaboration tools.
  • Develop process KPIs, lead root-cause analysis, and coordinate continuous improvement reviews.
  • Drive global change management, training, workshops, and adoption of ERP, APS, MRP, and procurement tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or materials management.
  • Proven experience in ETO or CTO manufacturing environments and global or multi-site process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and value stream mapping, with strong analytical, facilitation, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; temporary visa holders requiring sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with advanced planning systems and digital transformation initiatives.
