What you will do
- Maintain control and accuracy over all inventories (raw material, WIP, finished goods), managing transactions and receiving activities.
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including storage and delivery to points of use to ensure efficient material flow.
- Establish and implement best practices for inventory control and lean warehouse processes.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Planning teams to ensure materials are delivered to support production schedules.
- Implement and manage supplier scorecard systems to monitor and report on vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business or 5+ years of experience in inventory and warehouse management.
- Proven experience designing and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems (e.g., kanban).
- Proficiency in working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor Syteline).
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing daily material flow and team accountability.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills for inventory tracking and operational performance.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
Nice to have
- APICS certifications (CPIM or CSCP).
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
