Shipper / Receiver

Location: Office-based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders and repaired equipment for shipment.
• Coordinate carriers and complete shipping documentation.
• Maintain inventory records and support cycle counts, audits, and material organization.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, shop personnel, and internal departments while supporting material-flow improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or an industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, repair, service-shop, or heavy-industrial settings is an asset.
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and work orders.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (23 kg), remain active throughout the workday, and work safely around industrial equipment.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience handling large industrial equipment and machine components.
