Entry Level Software Product Manager (Embedded Software)

What you will do

• Help define and maintain roadmaps for embedded software, developer tools, middleware, and software ecosystems.
• Analyze customer requirements, market trends, competitive information, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on technical capabilities, tradeoffs, schedules, priorities, and feature definitions.
• Support feature prioritization, backlog management, product launches, presentations, training materials, and technical content.
• Present product recommendations and proposals to cross-functional teams and management.
• Track developments in embedded systems, IoT, artificial intelligence, connectivity, security, and software tools while supporting ecosystem and open-source adoption.

Requirements

• Recent BS or MS graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Interest in both software technology and product strategy.
• Ability to work across engineering, architecture, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams.
• Experience with embedded software development using C or C++ is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, firmware development, board bring-up, or hardware/software debugging.
• Knowledge of RTOS technologies such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, NFC, or UWB.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, IDEs, debuggers, build systems, Agile methodologies, or open-source projects.
• Technical internships, capstone projects, research projects, or personal software projects.
