Senior Hardware Product Manager (IoT Wireless)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: $124,600–$231,400 USD annual base pay, plus potential annual cash bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define SoC product requirements, features, specifications, system KPIs, and hardware architecture across processing, power management, peripherals, security, radio subsystems, and packaging.
• Translate market and system application requirements into product use cases, block diagrams, compute and peripheral requirements, and wireless protocol performance specifications.
• Define customer hardware and evaluation tools, including debug interfaces, communication ports, displays, sensors, and other user interfaces.
• Collaborate with IC design, product test, validation, software engineering, marketing, applications, operations, sales, and business teams on product roadmaps and silicon definition.
• Drive product development from concept through definition and present promising product ideas to executive staff.
• Conduct competitive analysis, including die-level teardowns and specification analysis, and manage a scalable product portfolio mapped to target applications.

Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent degree and 6+ years of experience in semiconductor product management or the IoT industry.
• Core development experience in IC front-end design, architecture, verification, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of PPA considerations, including power estimation, die-size estimation, and process-node fundamentals.
• Knowledge of wireless modem and RF design principles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 802.15.4, or other low-power wireless standards.
• Experience working technically with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams and developing technology investment business cases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive management.

Nice to have

• Development experience with wireless or wired communication protocols.
• MBA or equivalent business degree.
