Sr. Strategic Data Finance Analyst (Logistics)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid; no immigration sponsorship or transfer available.

Salary: $82,000–$110,000 annually in Illinois.

What you will do

• Lead the consolidation of financial data across business units into a unified P&L with accurate, consistent, granular drill-down capabilities.
• Partner with Data Engineering to build automated data pipelines and validation frameworks for financial metrics.
• Develop a unified data strategy across Transportation Management, Brokerage, and other business units, including data definitions, business logic, and reporting standards.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and prepare read-outs for executive leadership.
• Build scalable financial models for forecasting and detailed analysis.
• Own strategic data and finance projects from planning through completion, including scope, timelines, objectives, and cross-functional resources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in analytics, data, or finance.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including extracting, manipulating, and analyzing complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience building automated dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion Essbase, or EPBCS.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
