Senior Strategic Finance Analyst

Location: Hybrid position based in the New York, NY office; two days in the office each week are required.

Salary: $126,220–$151,470 USD annually.

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Customer Support leaders on budgets, spending decisions, risks, trade-offs, and reallocations.
• Own annual operating plans, headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, quarterly reforecasts, monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Build portfolio-level views of product investment, product margin, cost of revenue, and unit economics to support roadmap funding and resource allocation.
• Develop cost-to-serve analytics covering support costs by account and segment, including the economics of deflection and AI-assisted support.
• Build business cases for product investments, roadmap decisions, product retirement or consolidation, and pricing and monetization changes.
• Improve financial data models and automate recurring analysis with AI and lightweight tooling.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting.
• Experience owning an operating expense budget or partnering with a non-finance organization on spending.
• Strong driver-based revenue forecasting, operating expense modeling, and headcount modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of software and subscription economics, including ARR, NRR, ARPA, expansion, and gross margin.
• Comfort working with large, complex datasets; SQL proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations and present them to Product, Support, and senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Product or Engineering finance partnership experience at a software, data infrastructure, or developer tools company.
• Experience with product margin, cost of revenue, cost-to-serve, usage-based pricing, packaging, or monetization modeling.
• Experience with Pigment, Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Python, or SQL automation.
• Experience supporting rapid scaling or IPO preparation.
