Strategic Finance Analyst (AI)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States; candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the area

Base salary: $116,000–$130,500 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain long-range revenue forecasts using cohort behavior, product impacts, foreign-exchange trends, and experimentation data.
• Analyze ARPU, retention, platform mix, and geographic and product performance to identify actionable insights.
• Streamline dashboards and workflows in Excel, Pigment, and Looker, replacing manual processes with scalable systems.
• Use AI agents such as Claude Code and Codex to draft models, automate reporting, and produce initial data analyses.
• Partner with Product, Partnerships, Engineering, GTM, Accounting, and Data Science teams to size opportunities, set targets, and reconcile data.
• Develop robust reporting and forecasting processes and communicate recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, top-tier consulting, or high-growth technology FP&A with substantial financial-modeling ownership.
• Strong Excel and financial-modeling skills, with experience using SQL, FP&A tools, and data-visualization tools.
• Experience with consumer-subscription modeling, including conversions, cohort assumptions, churn curves, and FX forecasting.
• Hands-on fluency with AI agents such as Claude Code and Codex and interest in applying them to finance work.
• Ability to distill complex analysis into clear recommendations for executives and cross-functional partners.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
