Operations Engineer (Facility Operations)

What you will do

• Design visual standards for work boards, JIRA queues, Power BI dashboards, and department workflows.
• Improve maintenance programs by prioritizing poor-health hardware and eliminating unnecessary work.
• Analyze workflows, operational data, and site services to identify systemic gaps, trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, automation, and standardized tools that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Audit and streamline repair, maintenance, construction engineering, procurement, and material-management processes.
• Coordinate with workcell directors and maintenance and construction teams across sites to improve communication and eliminate duplicated work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in operations or process improvement; internship experience qualifies.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate operational findings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in critical manufacturing, data center, or production environments.
• Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, data visualization, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Experience with CAD, ArcGIS, Archibus, Power BI, JIRA, MRP, or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory, production, capacity planning, lean, or Six Sigma principles.
• Background in operations engineering, operations research, industrial engineering, or management science and experience on cross-functional teams.
