Industrial Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Partner with area teams to identify operational improvement opportunities and develop solutions for safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Maintain production management systems covering capacity modeling, dispatch, fab scheduling, forecasting, and related business processes.
• Improve equipment efficiency, cycle time, factory capacity, and labor productivity using Lean Manufacturing and best-known methods.
• Plan equipment and staffing capacity and connect area goals and forecasts to factory objectives.
• Define requirements, business processes, and user acceptance testing for Industrial Engineering systems supported by Manufacturing IT.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations peers in Chandler, Austin, and Nijmegen, and apply AI/ML, GenAI, and LLM solutions to operations.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Engineering; an advanced MS degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical, creative thinking, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of statistics, SPC, ANOVA, comparative methods, and DOE, with experience using JMP, Minitab, or similar tools.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Copilot, plus programming experience in Python, R, or C++, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of complex problem solving, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and business operations.
• Ability and willingness to wear a cleanroom suit and work in a cleanroom environment.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of semiconductor-related engineering experience.
• Experience deploying Lean principles and methods.
• Experience with factory or fab automation projects.
• Databricks experience.
