Head of Talent Acquisition Operations & Strategy

Location: Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule; in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with work-from-home availability on Wednesdays and potentially Fridays depending on the role and team.

Salary: $186,000–$218,700 base salary per year, plus potential equity, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead program managers and talent acquisition professionals responsible for recruiting operations and enablement.
• Partner with executive leadership and People Team leaders to develop high-impact, scalable hiring strategies.
• Improve hiring systems and workflows from headcount approval through offer execution.
• Use recruiting data to identify trends, remove operational bottlenecks, and improve KPI and OKR performance.
• Build talent acquisition capacity models and oversee talent marketing and candidate-care strategies.
• Drive change management and operational excellence across the Talent Acquisition organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including 4+ years managing Talent Acquisition Operations.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders on company-wide initiatives and driving organizational change.
• Data-driven approach to improving operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Experience with scaled planning, team enablement, coaching, and people leadership.
• Familiarity with Brighthire, Gem, Tableau, Greenhouse, or similar talent operations tools.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to apply them to recruiting operations.
