Senior Engagement Manager (Generative AI)

Location: United States; available locations are Seattle, Washington; Arlington, Virginia; or Herndon, Virginia

Salary: $153,600–$207,800 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Manage multiple complex VMware migration opportunities through qualification, negotiation, contractual closure, and sales-to-delivery handover.
• Define customer outcomes and translate technical requirements into ProServe Orders, commercial structures, proposals, and pricing models.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, partner engagement, executive approvals, and milestone-based delivery schedules.
• Secure customer sign-off, maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting, and track business impact against plan.
• Advocate for customer opportunities with Director-, VP-, and SVP-level stakeholders while balancing AWS business objectives.
• Enable sales teams with guidance, best practices, and domain expertise while identifying and mitigating delivery and commercial risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience managing complex, large-scale projects.
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Experience negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements, including security, privacy, SOX, or HIPAA.
• Experience with software development life cycle and agile or iterative methodologies.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST standards.
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, or SAP.
• Experience with enterprise systems, IaaS cloud transitions, VMware technologies, and virtualized or hybrid computing environments.
• Experience advocating to Director-level and above stakeholders.
