What you will do

• Lead ML engineers, AI scientists, and AI strategists delivering enterprise generative AI solutions.
• Architect and operationalize AI systems that move into production and generate measurable business value.
• Engage with CFOs, CIOs, C-suite executives, customers, partners, and AWS commercial teams.
• Drive customer transformation through focused delivery sprints and scalable implementation practices.
• Hire, develop, and retain high-quality technical talent across science and engineering.
• Coordinate with AWS Sales, service teams, industry teams, and Professional Services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager.
• 3+ years of experience managing scientists or machine learning engineers.
• 5+ years of applying statistical models to large-scale applications and building automated analytical systems.
• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or another scripting language.
• Ability to combine technical depth, customer engagement, business strategy, and team leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning areas such as NLP, regression, classification, clustering, or anomaly detection.
• Experience addressing fairness and bias in machine learning and artificial intelligence systems.
• PhD in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or an equivalent quantitative field.
