Senior Recipe Author (MES)

Location: Onsite in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States, five days per week. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility.

Salary: $82,700–$137,900 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a 10% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Author, configure, revise, validate, and maintain electronic batch records, master batch records, and EBR templates in PharmaSuite MES.
• Work with production units, subject-matter experts, leads, and operators to map processes and capture critical manufacturing parameters.
• Troubleshoot EBR execution, SAP-AMPS interface issues, IDOCs, automation integrations, and quality tracking tickets.
• Define business requirements, create detailed functional designs, and prepare procedures, job aids, and verification protocols.
• Train production users and EBR team members while supporting go-live hypercare, sustainment, upgrades, and deployments.
• Support continuous improvement, audits, deviations, change controls, and compliance with cGMP, GDP, safety, and hirify.global integrity principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, master’s degree with 0+ years, associate’s degree with 6 years, or high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• EBR recipe design and authoring, PharmaSuite, AMPS/MES, HTML, Java, or object-oriented programming experience.
• Systems analysis, data management, and quality tracking systems experience.
• M1, Yellow Belt, or hirify.global Human Performance methodology certification.
