Pega Senior System Architect

Location: Remote within the United States; requires working Eastern Time zone hours

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement business applications using Pega PRPC and related Pega frameworks.
• Design, configure, code, test, automate, deploy, and support complete Pega project lifecycles.
• Build system integrations using established and emerging technologies.
• Resolve technical issues, provide system support, and apply security standards and Pega guardrails.
• Communicate delivery blockers and contribute to risk management and timely business outcomes.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to team members without formal supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing PRPC-based solutions.
• 4+ years of experience with PRPC version 7 or above.
• At least 2 years as a Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).
• Expertise in relational database management systems, SQL, and performance and scalability design in Pega PRPC.
• Strong Core Java, object-oriented programming, and database experience with Oracle, MSSQL, or DB2.

Nice to have

• Insurance domain knowledge or experience with Pega Insurance frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI, Dynatrace, Pega UI/UX development, Pega system administration, Pega performance engineering, or Pega Robotics.
