AEC Data Strategist (AI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 103,000–150,700 annual base salary for Canada-based roles; offers may exceed this range based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into strategic recommendations for AEC data capabilities.
• Develop business cases, executive presentations, and strategic frameworks for product, go-to-market, and investment decisions.
• Partner with Product and Platform teams to evaluate opportunities and inform roadmap priorities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on go-to-market planning and adoption of new data capabilities.
• Support the data ecosystem through strategic partnerships, technology evaluations, and growth initiatives.
• Engage customers, industry organizations, and executive stakeholders while leading cross-functional initiatives and tracking AI-driven data-management trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in strategy, product management, management consulting, go-to-market, corporate strategy, or a related field.
• Experience developing recommendations based on customer, market, and competitive insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations and compelling narratives.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Operations industry.
• Knowledge of data management, information management, BIM workflows, interoperability, or model validation.
• Experience with product or platform strategy, strategic partnerships, or M&A initiatives.
• Experience with cloud platforms, AI-enabled tools, or data-driven workflows.
