Salary: USD $101,000–$131,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly account analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Establish, interpret, and analyze complex accounting records and financial statements.
• Support monthly financial close activities and prepare analytical reviews of financial statements.
• Apply accurate accounting treatment to fixed income, equities, mortgage loans, cash equivalents, and alternative investments.
• Prepare GAAP and SAP investment disclosures and ensure financial statement integrity and compliance.
• Support annual external audits, budgeting processes, and inquiries about financial results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Five or more years of financial accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and SAP and prior exposure to accounting systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong evaluation, troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Availability to work in the hybrid Short Hills or interim Branchville, New Jersey locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Clearwater investment accounting software and J.P. Morgan custodian platforms.
• CPA designation; required for upward mobility.
