Principal UX Expert (Fintech)

Location: Mountain View, California, USA — office attendance three days per week, with remote work available for the remainder of the week.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Conduct ongoing research with users, buyers, administrators, and decision-makers to identify product needs, objections, and workflow challenges.
• Partner with Product Managers and designers from feature initiation through Product and Design Reviews to validate personas, problems, outcomes, and usability risks.
• Build and maintain persona libraries and operationalize them through AI-powered agents, skills, guardrails, and evaluators.
• Create wireframes and prototypes when hands-on exploration helps test concepts or improve solutions.
• Shape product copy, UX copy, and messaging with Product Marketing based on persona and business-context insights.
• Support Product-Led Growth and Product-Led Sales experiments across features, upsell flows, decision-makers, and business contexts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in UX, product design, service design, user research, or product strategy, with shipped-product experience.
• Deep experience conducting user research through customer calls, onboarding and demo recordings, and behavioral analytics such as FullStory.
• Senior in-house UX experience with a high-craft B2B SaaS product or experience at a top-tier design or product consultancy.
• Strong understanding of finance personas and workflows, including accounts payable, procurement, controllership, ERP, or fintech.
• Experience with growth experimentation, Product-Led Growth, and Product-Led Sales.
• Ability to work across US and Israel time zones and attend the Mountain View office three days per week.

• Experience structuring research into reusable persona libraries, evaluation criteria, and AI workflows.
• Hands-on experience building or configuring agents, skills, guardrails, and evaluators for research, prototyping, and product-quality assessment.
