Quality Engineer III (Elevator Manufacturing)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; legal authority to work in the U.S. is required.

What you will do

• Perform internal, supplier, and certification audits while maintaining quality documentation and audit schedules.
• Develop test procedures, conduct experiments, analyze product and process performance, and monitor quality trends.
• Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives across production, engineering, design, purchasing, and supply chain.
• Drive Lean continuous improvement, process controls, NPI quality planning, and ECO/MCO reviews.
• Manage root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, customer quality concerns, and supplier improvement plans.
• Develop quality KPIs, report performance to leadership, and mentor junior quality engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, plus eight years of relevant experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree and six years of experience.
• At least five years of quality engineering experience.
• Experience with structured problem solving, including 8D, A3, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, CAPA, quality inspection tools, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle, Microsoft Office, and statistical or quality data analysis applications.
• Must have legal authority to work in the United States.
