Quality Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing)

Work with a growing electronics manufacturing partner serving a range of small and mid-sized companies.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System.
• Lead ISO 9001, FM, and UL certification and compliance activities.
• Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits, prepare for third-party audits, and maintain quality records.
• Monitor organizational KPIs through weekly, monthly, and annual performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on process controls, error-proofing, quality objectives, and product reliability.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, PPAP submissions, PFMEA updates, and process control plan revisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of quality and internal auditing experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to prepare KPI and audit reports.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and work with very small parts using a scope or inspection magnification aids.
• Willingness to travel to business locations to understand products, processes, and facilities.

Nice to have

• Electrical or electronics manufacturing experience.
