What you will do

• Implement comprehensive environmental health and safety programs using data-driven strategies.
• Conduct daily safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
• Deliver safety training and coach associates and leaders on safe working practices.
• Analyze accident data, processes, and machinery to identify and reduce workplace risks.
• Support emergency response and maintain effective care delivery during incidents.
• Build partnerships across the facility to strengthen safety culture and operational performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety field, a relevant bachelor's degree, or six months in an hirify.global safety-related role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience handling confidential security or personnel matters.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends; ability to perform physically demanding work and stand or walk for up to 12 hours.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field.
• Experience leading teams and managing workers' compensation cases.
• Experience with emergency response and current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, judgment, and customer-focus skills.
