What you will do

• Lead regional workplace health and safety programs across operational sites and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Operations leaders to integrate safety practices into daily business activities and strategic decisions.
• Oversee incident management, investigations, risk assessments, site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of WHS professionals, including staff training and performance management.
• Manage emergency preparedness, response support, recordkeeping, and safety performance reviews.
• Use safety metrics and data analysis to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and improve operational outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibility in EHS or environmental programs within manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Ability to travel 50–70% of the time, work various shifts, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 49 pounds.
• Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or ability to obtain it within 3 weeks of the start date.
• Strong communication, analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and compliance-management skills.

Nice to have

• Distribution center or manufacturing WHS experience at a site with at least 250 employees.
• Master’s degree or Certified Safety Professional certification.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in operational environments.
