TL;DR

Location: Remote within the United States, with approximately quarterly travel and occasional customer, partner, conference, or internal business meetings.

What you will do
- Own the rare disease product roadmap as the central source of direction, priorities, and cross-functional alignment.
- Synthesize customer, provider, market, competitive, clinical, regulatory, technology, and operational insights into product opportunities and requirements.
- Develop data-supported business cases, ROI justifications, prioritization frameworks, and investment recommendations.
- Define market requirements, target segments, value propositions, use cases, workflows, product features, pricing inputs, and success metrics.
- Manage product performance, enhancements, releases, lifecycle improvements, and corrective action plans for on-market products.
- Support commercialization through launch planning, training, sales enablement, messaging, and collaboration with commercial, clinical, laboratory, and operational stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States and able to work remotely with approximately quarterly travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, genetics, bioinformatics, healthcare, business, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of product management experience in diagnostics, genomics, or a related field.
- Experience managing on-market product lifecycles, commercial launches, and cross-functional initiatives in clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated environments.
- Strong clinical, market, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex clinical, technical, customer, and business inputs into product requirements, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as an MS, PhD, MBA, or genetic counseling degree.
- Experience with whole exome sequencing, whole genome sequencing, or related technologies.
- Experience working with geneticists, genetic counselors, neurologists, or developmental pediatricians.
