Software Engineering Manager (Healthcare SaaS)

Location: Remote work is available, with candidates based in Istanbul preferred due to in-person collaboration requirements.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a growing team of front-end, back-end, QA, and mobile engineers.
• Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of highly available and scalable products.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Design, and HR to align engineering priorities, delivery, and team growth.
• Establish disciplined engineering and operations processes while tracking team health indicators.
• Lead system design activities and architectural decisions with the engineering team.
• Promote a culture of openness, quality, robustness, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience and 4+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience with Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar web development frameworks.
• Experience working independently in dynamic, agile, and results-driven environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Perfectly fluent English is required; interviews are conducted in English, and candidates below an advanced level will not proceed.
