What you will do

• Build, commission, deploy, and upgrade bespoke communication and computer-aided dispatch solutions in customer environments and hosted data centres.
• Troubleshoot the product suite at both hardware and software levels.
• Create, review, and update engineering documentation, workplans, work instructions, and technical guides.
• Coordinate deployment activities with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Deliver technical and non-technical customer support across site-based projects, including overnight travel.
• Complete work to defined deadlines while following engineering, operational, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least five consecutive years of residence in the UK.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence is required.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems, administering Windows 11 and Windows Server up to 2022, and deploying Windows operating systems and updates through WSUS.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and domain architecture.
• Working knowledge of MySQL or MSSQL, including backups and queries.
• Experience with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization, Microsoft business applications, customer service, and ITIL best practices.
