What you will do

• Lead hands-on infrastructure support within the IT infrastructure support and 3rd-line escalation team, supporting technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
• Deploy and manage on-premises infrastructure with monitoring, alerts, backups, and recovery plans in place.
• Manage aspects of the Azure platform in close collaboration with the cloud platform team.
• Deliver best-of-breed 3rd-line support within SLA/KPI expectations, ensuring efficient ticket and issue handling.
• Design and maintain disaster recovery plans and operational resilience; evaluate and implement infrastructure technologies.
• Work with SecOps to remediate vulnerabilities and contribute to secure, compliant infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ infrastructure experience, including at least 1 year in a similar senior capacity within a support-focused engineering team.
• Strong Active Directory and associated services skills.
• Experience across classic infrastructure disciplines: networking, Windows Server, storage, virtualization, security, and mail services.
• Excellent Microsoft Exchange skills, ideally in a hybrid solution.
• Experience with infrastructure automation/scripting (PowerShell, Ansible) and designing/documenting technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of ITIL; proactive troubleshooting and fault identification.

Nice to have

• Experience with team supervision or mentoring.
• Linux server configuration/support; MS SQL Server.
• Terraform IaC deployments; remote desktop (RDS/AVD/VDI) environments.
• Experience supporting Macbook devices; IP telephony design/implementation/support.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence; cloud infrastructure deployment experience.
