What you will do

• Design, secure, and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Maintain internal and external business systems, including voice and data networks, backup recovery, and unified communications.
• Implement planned infrastructure projects and support IT service continuity management processes.
• Manage network administration, firewall security, anti-virus central administration, and patching policies.
• Provide technical consultancy, support, and guidance to all IT users and Trustees.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance the overall knowledge and resilience of the IT team.

Requirements

• IT-related degree or equivalent professional experience in infrastructure delivery and project implementation.
• Detailed understanding of network topology (LAN, WAN, DMZ) and firewall architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange server environments.
• Strong understanding of IT security concepts and standards, specifically Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Working knowledge of virtualized and physical environments as well as storage platforms.
• Ability to travel to other locations and partner sites as required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing change within a complex organization.
• Understanding of ISO 27001 standards.
