What you will do

• Develop software and experiments to evaluate wireless communication and physical-layer performance.
• Measure metrics such as transmit EVM, spectrum mask, packet error rate, and interference rejection.
• Support evaluation, debugging, quality assurance, and production readiness for IC and microprocessor products.
• Analyze results, identify root causes, and implement improvements to system designs.
• Build automation tools for performance evaluation, data extraction, and analysis.
• Collaborate with digital design engineers on PHY-layer algorithm design and bit-true verification.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of signal processing, wireless communication, digital communication, and communication systems and networks.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with RFSOC and MATLAB.
• Knowledge of artificial neural computation and machine learning with FPGA implementation.
• Position based in San Jose, California, United States.
