What you will do

• Define high-level requirements and use cases for ADAS and teleoperation features for military and dual-use vehicles.
• Develop logical and physical system architectures showing interactions between sensors, controllers, and physical systems.
• Architect robust, low-latency teleoperation pipelines including video streaming and operator control unit (OCU) interfaces.
• Define fail-safe and fail-operational fallback modes for signal degradation and network latency spikes.
• Lead Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity analysis at the concept and system level.
• Manage the Design Verification Plan (DVP&R) and oversee testing from SIL/HIL to proving grounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant educational credential.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink control logic.
• Knowledge of ADAS and teleoperated/unmanned ground vehicle industry standards.
• Must be based in Garden Grove, CA.
