What you will do

• Own periodic consolidations and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate external accountants and lead audit interactions.
• Lead the Record-to-Report lifecycle and ensure accounting data supports multidimensional reporting and analytics.
• Oversee expense classification, document verification, invoicing workflows, and routine tax inquiries.
• Lead finance projects involving process redesign, tax optimization, vendor selection, and grant applications.
• Partner with Finance leadership to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and global accounting scalability.

Requirements

• Certification as Contabilista Certificado in Portugal.
• At least two years of bookkeeping experience in Sage X3, including two annual closings.
• Experience with finance support processes, audit, tax, accounting, reporting, and related legal requirements.
• Knowledge of finance systems, software, applications, and online reporting platforms.
• Strong finance analytics, strategy, business acumen, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an international, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Economics, General Management, or a related field.
• Interest in learning new technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
