Business Intelligence Analyst - Game Ops (Gaming)

Location: Remote within the United States; Atlanta, Georgia preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Distill datasets into recommendations supported by clear visualizations and concise talking points.
• Scope and complete ad hoc analyses of game mechanics, products, and user performance.
• Build, document, and maintain accessible dashboards and reusable analyses.
• Partner with Game Operations and Product to address data, performance, and process gaps.
• Enhance datasets for more usable and nuanced analysis and reporting.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data, pricing, users, and game operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in statistics, finance, mathematics, or business analysis.
• Advanced experience with SQL, data visualization tools such as Tableau, and Excel formulas.
• Advanced experience in an analyst, gaming, consulting, finance, or data science role.
• Extensive knowledge of sports, gaming, Daily Fantasy Sports, pricing, trading, or finance.
• Demonstrated data-driven critical thinking, problem-solving, recommendation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Competitive-level experience playing or optimizing performance in sports, DFS, or other games.
• Personal projects related to sports, gaming, trading, pricing, DFS, prediction markets, or finance.
• Knowledge of Python, R, MATLAB, or other programming languages.
