BI Analyst - Game Operations

Location: Remote within the United States; Atlanta, Georgia is preferred.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Translate datasets into recommendations supported by clear visualizations and concise talking points.
• Scope and complete ad hoc analyses of game mechanics, product performance, and user behavior.
• Build, document, and maintain accessible dashboards and reusable analyses.
• Partner with Game Operations and Product to identify and address data, performance, and process gaps.
• Enhance datasets for more nuanced analysis and reporting.
• Provide expertise on data, pricing, users, game operations, and game mechanics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in statistics, finance, mathematics, or business analysis.
• Advanced experience with SQL, data visualization tools such as Tableau, and Excel formulas.
• Advanced experience in analytics, gaming, consulting, finance, or data science.
• Extensive knowledge of sports, gaming, Daily Fantasy Sports, pricing, trading, or finance.
• Strong data-driven critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, organization, and recommendation skills.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Competitive-level experience playing or optimizing performance in sports, DFS, or other games.
• Personal projects involving sports, gaming, trading, pricing, DFS, prediction markets, or finance.
• Knowledge of Python, R, MATLAB, or other programming languages.
