Founder's Office Generalist (Fintech)

Location: Japan; hybrid work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Drive zero-to-one strategic projects for the finance super app.
• Support licensing, market entry, partner acquisition, office setup, hiring, and operating plans.
• Research markets, competitors, regulations, partners, and business models.
• Turn founder-level ideas into structured plans, owners, timelines, and next actions.
• Work across product, legal, compliance, finance, hiring, operations, and country teams.
• Build operating documents and execution rhythms while owning urgent business problems through resolution.

Requirements

• Strong generalist profile with high ownership, strong writing, and sound business judgment.
• Ability to learn new industries, regulations, and markets quickly.
• Comfort working across licensing, partnerships, operations, market research, and execution.
• Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into clear plans and follow-through.
• Strong English communication and structured thinking are required.
• Availability to work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in startups, consulting, fintech, strategy, operations, investing, or founder-led environments.
• Experience working with senior leaders while handling hands-on execution.
