What you will do

• Lead FEA and simulation activities across multiple product lines, ensuring structural integrity, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Own complex product development programmes from concept through production and provide technical authority on structural performance and validation.
• Improve simulation capabilities through automation, material modelling, and correlation with physical testing.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and review for mechanical design engineers while delegating and overseeing analysis and design work.
• Collaborate with industrial design, manufacturing, and testing teams and lead major design reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Support sustainability, weight reduction, cost optimisation, documentation, and engineering standards across the global engineering community.

Requirements

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience focused on FEA and simulation-led product development.
• Proven structural analysis expertise using ANSYS or equivalent tools.
• Experience independently managing complex engineering projects and leading technical workstreams.
• In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacture and Assembly, especially plastic injection moulding and metal casting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, influencing, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
