What you will do

• Support new and existing media handling products (banknotes, cheques, vouchers) from a mechanical perspective.
• Perform analyses using CAE tools such as Ansys Mechanical and RecurDyn to evaluate technologies and provide design direction.
• Validate CAE findings through hand calculations or physical testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new devices and improvements.
• Produce clear and concise technical reports to share findings and recommend solutions.
• Stay current with the latest developments in modelling and simulation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better preferred).
• Knowledge of structural analysis, multi-body dynamics, and mechanism design.
• Understanding of engineering material properties for metals, plastics, and rubbers.
• Ability to read 2D drawings, including dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Dundee, UK.
