What you will do

• Design new products and modifications for mineral processing and material handling applications.
• Produce 3D models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documentation using NX or comparable CAD platforms.
• Perform design calculations, engineering analysis, and simulations to ensure product viability.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and reverse-engineering activities at customer sites.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to turn operational requirements into practical solutions.
• Support product installation and provide technical investigations and advice to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree, diploma, or recognized equivalent.
• Strong experience designing mechanical products for mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial applications.
• Advanced 3D modelling and 2D drafting capabilities (NX preferred).
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, casting, machining, and other heavy manufacturing processes.
• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Ability to work from the Burswood location and travel to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with structural calculations, ANSYS, or other FEA tools.
• Proficiency with DEM software.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter PLM or 3D scanning technology.
