What you will do

• Administer and troubleshoot complex, highly available infrastructures, including participating in on-call rotations.
• Develop and optimize distributed DDoS defense platforms and analysis/visualization mechanisms.
• Monitor systems and analyze security attacks while tracking current industry trends.
• Implement new functions and plan/operate international network setups.
• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines and supporting technical processes in an agile DevOps environment.
• Evaluate and assess new technologies to enhance defense capabilities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Berlin.
• Degree in Computer Science or comparable professional education.
• Several years of experience in the administration of complex, distributed Linux systems.
• Proven experience configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy or web application firewall.
• Hands-on experience with BGP, Flowspec, and Anycast routing on Linux and network routers.
• English: Fluent communication skills (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, or the ELK Stack.
• Strong advocacy for Open Source, especially Linux.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Python.
