What you will do

• Manage Linux and Windows server infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Plan and execute physical server deployments, including hardware selection and rack installation at multiple sites.
• Maintain system security, patch management, and access control.
• Implement backup strategies and ensure high availability for critical systems.
• Build automation using configuration management tools to minimize manual operations.
• Monitor system health and performance while documenting configurations and runbooks.

Requirements

• Strong experience with both Linux and Windows server environments.
• Hands-on experience planning and deploying physical server hardware.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, or similar) and IaC principles.
• Knowledge of system security hardening and patch management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Must be based in Germany and open to occasional travel for deployments.

• Experience with PostgreSQL administration.
