What you will do

• Operate and maintain the DaSS subsystem in a 24/7 mission-critical environment to ensure high availability and performance.
• Design, implement, and operate SatCom networking testbeds for the validation of emerging space communication technologies.
• Analyze system behavior, diagnose complex issues, and perform root cause analyses for configuration changes and migrations.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Bash, Python, Java, and C/C++ to support monitoring and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce technical documentation and improve system readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Linux environments (preferably SLES) and high-availability services.
• Solid programming skills in C/C++ and Java, along with Bash and Python scripting.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, and WAN/MPLS technologies.
• Experience with hardware/software interfaces and system-level debugging in complex technical environments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CCSDS and SatCom standards (e.g., O3K, ESTOL, DTN, Space Packet, CADU).
• Experience with performance-critical or low-latency systems and protocol benchmarking.
• Exposure to SatCom operations or research-driven technology prototyping.
