Investment Operations Associate (Asset Management)

Location: Central; the role supports APAC markets and is associated with in-person offices across the UK.

What you will do

• Oversee ETF and ICAV fund valuations, review NAV calculations, sign off or challenge third-party administrator outputs, and strengthen controls.
• Investigate and resolve valuation queries across ETFs and pooled funds and support accurate, timely NAV publication.
• Review post-trade transaction cost analysis and collaborate with ETF Capital Markets, Distribution, and Fund Management teams on fund flows, trading activity, and expenses.
• Coordinate operational readiness for new ETFs and listed share classes and embed changes into operating models and processes.
• Oversee outsourced start-of-day, intraday, and end-of-day trade lifecycle activities across APAC, monitoring service quality, controls, and settlement risks.
• Manage subscriptions, redemptions, reconciliations, overdrafts, custody issues, operational exceptions, cash impacts, trade mismatches, and client servicing queries.

Requirements

• Investment Operations experience with strong knowledge of fund valuations, including NAV production or valuation oversight, and the ability to independently analyse, challenge, and resolve valuation queries.
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlement, custody, and post-trade operations across EMEA and APAC markets.
• Experience overseeing outsourced and third-party service providers, including service delivery, controls, and SLA performance.
• Experience managing cash, stock, and NAV reconciliations and operational exceptions, identifying root causes, and resolving breaks.
• Experience working in multi-currency environments and knowledge of global custodians and matching platforms such as State Street and CTM.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, clients, and service providers and communicate across multiple levels and functions in a global organisation.
• Strong risk and control mindset, ownership, attention to detail, sound operational judgement, and disciplined escalation.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement skills in a fast-paced global environment, with strong written and verbal English.
