What you will do

• Perform daily Middle Office activities, including trade input, reconciliations, and client data maintenance.
• Maintain operational standards and basic control frameworks to reduce operational risk.
• Deliver daily, monthly, and regulatory reporting accurately and on time.
• Act as the primary operational contact for brokers to ensure smooth trade capture and workflow support.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, and IT to resolve issues and maintain effective processes.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior resources to help build a scalable Middle Office structure.

Requirements

• Solid experience in brokerage operations or Middle Office within commodities or financial markets.
• Working knowledge of trade lifecycle processes and operational controls.
• Proficiency in Excel for working with trade data, formulas, and data validation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in London, UK for on-site work.

Nice to have

• Exposure to MiFID II / REMIT reporting requirements.
• Experience with commodities platforms and exchanges such as Trayport, ICE, or EEX.
• Familiarity with XML files.
