Manager, Brokerage Operations

hirify.global operates in energy transition and environmental commodities markets through an energy and environmental commodities brokerage.

What you will do

• Support and perform daily EMEA Middle Office activities, including trade input, reconciliations, and client data maintenance.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of core trade lifecycle processes.
• Provide first-line escalation support for operational issues and act as an operational contact for brokers.
• Apply and maintain operational standards and basic control frameworks, including daily, monthly, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify practical process improvements that reduce operational risk.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, and IT while guiding junior resources and contributing to a stable, scalable Middle Office structure.

Requirements

• Solid experience in brokerage operations or Middle Office within commodities or financial markets.
• Working knowledge of trade lifecycle processes and operational controls.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using Excel for day-to-day operational tasks, including trade data, basic formulas, and data validation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to MiFID II and REMIT reporting requirements.
• Exposure to commodities platforms and exchanges such as Trayport, ICE, or EEX.
• Familiarity with XML files.
