Investment Products Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid with three days per week in-office (Tuesday and Thursday plus one flexible day), with the option to request additional remote time.

What you will do

• Monitor the daily lifecycle of tens of thousands of retail trades and resolve execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements.
• Coordinate operational processing with custodians, execution partners, and transfer agents for mutual funds, equities, and ETF transactions.
• Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform records and external partner reports.
• Escalate systemic operational issues and translate them into functional requirements for product and engineering improvements.
• Lead operational setup, testing, and launch workflows for new retail investment products, including crypto assets, pension funds, and robo-advisory offerings.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in fintech or investment operations, ideally in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management.
• Hands-on experience with mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products.
• Direct experience working with third-party custodians, trade execution partners, and transfer agents.
• Experience building repeatable and automated operational processes for high-volume retail platforms.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent English is required.

• Knowledge of Italian.
• Experience establishing an investment operations function and supporting expansion toward order execution and self-custody.
