Wind Turbine Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Onsite in Jabbeke, Belgium; must be based near Jabbeke and willing to travel across Belgium. Weekend emergency call-outs and late shifts are part of a rotation.

What you will do

• Service, maintain, and repair hirify.global wind turbines.
• Diagnose faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Complete computerized service documentation, reports, and required records.
• Follow site rules, prevention policies, and the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Provide weekend emergency call-out and late-shift support on a rotating basis.
• Travel across Belgium and attend training courses in Belgium or abroad.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous wind turbine experience is advantageous.
• Driving licence, category B, is essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch are required.
• Must be based in Belgium near Jabbeke and be willing to travel extensively across the country.
• Physical fitness, comfort working at heights, good IT skills, safety awareness, and a problem-solving mindset.
