What you will do

• Assist in Manufacturing "Design for X" (DFX) reviews through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
• Develop manufacturing process specifications and ergonomic production equipment procedures.
• Design and validate manufacturing fixtures for handoff to high-volume production.
• Perform capital equipment investment assessments and capacity planning for process resources.
• Optimize facility layouts and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for BOMs and drawings.
• Monitor quality at suppliers and provide training to assembly personnel.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD applications.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-600/IPC-A/610/IPC 7711/7721) and ISO standards.
• Must be a US Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee (ITAR restriction).
• Must be local to North Reading, MA.
