What you will do
- Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
- Monitor, patch, troubleshoot, and manage capacity across virtualization platforms.
- Support incident, request, change, and problem management processes in an SLA-driven environment.
- Validate backups and participate in disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams while supporting automation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of infrastructure or virtualization administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience administering VMware and vCenter.
- Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, change management, and SLA-driven support.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Nice to have
- VMware VCP certification.
- Exposure to NSX-T.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automation or scripting experience with PowerShell or Bash.
