Global Sourcing Manager (Software)

What you will do

• Source technology purchases, including Software, SaaS, and Infrastructure, on a regional and global basis.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with IT, Security, Privacy, and Legal stakeholders.
• Negotiate license models, competitive business cases, and robust legal terms and conditions to complete contract packages.
• Manage supplier governance, tracking deadlines, lead times, and annual renewal cadences to ensure business continuity.
• Utilize GPSC Sourcing Processes to manage sourcing packages and maintain benchmark data to drive strategy.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in purchasing.
• Ability to negotiate complex and ambiguous situations independently.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Analytical skills for performing in-depth benchmarking.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP or the ability to learn purchasing systems.
• Willingness to travel 5% of the time domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Legal and Commercial Terms and Conditions with risk assessment capabilities.
• Previous experience specifically within IT, Technology, or Software sourcing.
