What you will do

• Supervise and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Execute sourcing projects using category-level strategies to acquire goods and services in a cost-effective manner.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs with suppliers to maximize savings and ensure favorable commercial terms.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential supplier-related risks.
• Manage supplier relationships and measure actual performance against negotiated quality metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholder leadership and contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Location: Must be based in San Mateo, CA, United States.
