What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain API-based integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms (GitLab, Jira, Slack, Datadog, etc.) to create a cohesive engineering ecosystem.
• Build and enhance platform services that enable engineering teams to efficiently develop and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable APIs and microservices that power the enterprise engineering platform.
• Implement automation and reusable services to standardize CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure integrations meet federal security standards, reliability targets, and performance requirements for high-volume environments.
• Mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and align stakeholders with product and project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise integration roles.
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise SaaS platforms and third-party services.
• Strong background in building scalable cloud-native applications, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend skills, including state management and performance optimization.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must be based in one of the 16 licensed US states.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Datadog, or Databricks.
• Experience supporting federal digital modernization or large-scale platform engineering initiatives.
