Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid schedule with office attendance every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $180,000–$205,000 estimated annual base salary, plus equity

What you will do

• Deliver complex, high-impact initiatives end to end, from problem framing and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Drive technical direction across the stack, including architecture, API design, and performance strategy for high-traffic distributed workflows.
• Build and improve core product experiences such as inbox triage, real-time messaging, rich text composition, and AI-powered workflows.
• Partner with Product and Design to define requirements, identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and align on tradeoffs.
• Improve testing, observability, engineering standards, tooling, and code health across hirify.globalend and backend systems.
• Mentor colleagues, provide constructive code reviews, share best practices, and strengthen collaborative engineering practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience building complex, production-grade fullstack applications, including high-volume real-time systems at scale.
• Strong fullstack experience across multiple systems, stacks, and distributed systems.
• Deep proficiency with React, TypeScript, Elasticsearch, Redis, and AWS.
• Experience leading projects, driving alignment across stakeholders, and delivering large initiatives.
• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in the San Francisco hybrid arrangement and attend the office Tuesday through Thursday.
