TL;DR

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US and have/obtain Secret Clearance)

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 a year

What you will do

• Actively design, code, and ship full stack features for an AI-enabled application platform.
• Define application architecture and API contracts across front-end and backend layers.
• Implement AI capabilities including tool calling, prompt/control flow, context management, and LLM integration.
• Lead technical execution for a small team and mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Support secure enterprise integrations and ensure production-readiness of the software.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in typed OOP languages such as Java, C#, TypeScript, Go, or Kotlin.
• Proven experience building modern front-end applications and backend APIs.
• Ability to design production-grade architecture and break down complex requirements into technical plans.
• Familiarity with AI application patterns and safe handling of model I/O.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs.
• Experience with OIDC/OAuth2, Keycloak, or Entra ID.
• Background in Microservices, containerized/cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD.
• Experience with sensitive data, enterprise permissions, and compliance in government or SaaS sectors.
